This entry was posted in Programming by Sven. Happy printing!ĮTA: It is now available in Package Control under the name Simple Print Function. This is the recommended version of Sublime Text to use, and is available for Windows, OS X and Linux. Sublime Text 3 may be downloaded from the Sublime Text 3 page.
Until then you can install directly by selecting Package Control: Add Repository and adding. To test that sublime text is using the interpreter you chose, you can use this code: import sys print(sys.versioninfo). Am trying to use Sublime Text 3 (Build3211) with Python 3.9.0 on Windows 10. Looking at the merge request queue, it seems to take about two weeks before requests get integrated. This new plugin has been submitted to Package Control, the semi-official package manager for Sublime Text extensions.
After having merged that, I took another look at the code and decided to rewrite it pretty much from scratch to clean it up and remove code duplication. In the latest OS X named Maverick, GDB isnt installed by default and can be installed using brew. Nothing much happened for a while, until I got a merge request with substantial enhancements from another Githubber. The GNU Project Debugger ( GDB) is a debugger built by the open source GNU Project, and it lets us debug the following languages: GDB comes with most of the Unix distributions that include Linux and OS X. I naturally put the plugin on Github and promoted it a bit in the forum. But you can fix that easily by switching to keyboard shortcuts to control Sublime Text. If you rely on menus and buttons to find your way around in this powerful program, you’re missing out on a faster, more seamless experience. Go to Preferences->Key Bindings, a new window will appear now you have to write the following code. So going to Tools->SublimeREPL->Python->Python-RUN current file each time is a major pain so now we can create a shortcut for this. I started on a very simple plugin last april that just sends the document of the current view to an external command line program for printing. Sublime Text is a slick, responsive cross-platform text editor that the developer community swears by. sublime.executablepath(), sublime.packagespath(), sublime.installedpackagespath() and sublime.cachepath() may now be called at import time Added sublime.SymbolRegion and sublime. That’s pretty cool running python programs on Sublime Text 3.
But there are many entertaining discussions on the discussion forum where people who have bought the program months ago suddenly realize that it does not print, and then make as if the sky has fallen down or some such. Personally, I don’t mind – I only print very seldom. Sublime Text is a fantastic text editor, but it does not let you print.
